1. Comment on people's work! I cannot stress this enough! Go and browse categories, there are tons of these! Go to the bottom of a dA page and click Random Deviation and comment on it! You'll get popular fast!
2. Go and whore out your work in the thumbshare forum! Open your own threads and post on every thread that applys to you!
3. Have a suggestion for dA? Post it in the forums!
4. Participate in every topic in the Deviants forum. Be known as the deviant who has something to say about everything.
5. Go in the entertainment forum and share your opinions on musicians, tv shows, movies, books, etc.
6. Post on news, shoutboards, deviant pages, deviations, forums, everywhere! Make your name known everywhere!
7. Seize every opportunity for recognition, you won't get it as a sitting duck!
8. Make your own How To Get Popular! journal! Steal mine if you want! Advertise it in your signature, that's how you'll get pageviews!
